Sandra & Jeff both received personal property appraisal training & accreditation through the International Society of Appraisers (ISA); and both have completed the USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice(USPAP) course requirements and testing.
Millius Estate Services (MES) was founded in 1997 to provide clients assistance for the sale of their personal property and provides personal property appraisal services.
MES provides professional management of sales of art, antiques and residential contents for clients who are relocating or settling an estate. They provide appraisal reports for legal purposes: insurance, damage/loss claims, probate, divorce, equitable distribution & donation. They also offer “road show” appraisals for charitable or civic organizational events.
Jeff has come to MES with a background of small business ownership focused on antique furniture restoration & repair, retail sales, and custom fireplace mantel production.
Sandra taught courses in antique collecting and appreciation at area community colleges and was a dealer in several antique malls.
Both Jeff and Sandra are members of international, national and local collector organizations, with a primary focus on the decorative arts. They have done pro-bono appraisal services for the Albertina Kerr Heirloom antique shop and the Architectural Heritage auction. Both have interest in historical preservation. Sandra is a member of the City of Gresham Historic Resources Committee.
Sandra & Jeff are Oregon natives. They have been married since 2001 and enjoy Sandra’s three children and five grandchildren.
Sandra is a graduate of Southern Oregon University where she earned a BS in secondary education. Jeff attended South Western Oregon Community College and the University of Oregon. They are members of the Hollywood District Business Boosters. Both have held leadership positions on the boards of non-profit organizations they are affiliated with.
