Becky earned degrees in Gerontology and Social Services from Portland State University. Becky completed her CLTC (Certified in Long-term Care Insurance) and Health and Life Insurance training in 2006. Becky is licensed in Oregon and Washington and has received national recognition from the American Association for Long-term Care Insurance.
As an independent long-term care advisor Becky uses her knowledge of the insurance industry and extensive hands-on experience to assist her clients to choose from a myriad of long-term care options available, helping ensure the best solution. As an independent producer, Becky works as your advocate, not for an insurance company. She brings a compassionate ear, sound approach and thoughtful advice to her clients’ situations.
Becky began her career as a geriatric caregiver with the Visiting Nurse Association and served for more than twenty-four years as executive director of Elders in Action. In that capacity Becky spearheaded programs like the Multnomah County 24-Hour Helpline, Portland Police Abuse and Crimes Unit, and the Age-Friendly Business program.
Becky has made Portland her home since 1970. She is the proud mother of five children and has seven grandchildren with whom she loves to spend time playing. In addition to elder causes, Becky has a passion for sailing to ports afar, gardening and singing with the West Linn Community Chorus.
