Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. Her coursework included gerontology, nutrition and psychology. She worked for a utility company where she was an Energy Conservation Specialist teaching conservation and electrical safety in the home to schools and community groups.
She obtained her Realtor license in 1988, the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) in 1998, and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) in 2004. Lynn continues to keep current by attending courses in marketing, technology and senior specific topics such as elder care, elder abuse, trusts and wills and financial planning.
Lynn specializes in helping seniors and their families downsize to more manageable living situations. She helps to sell the family home and to move to a condominium, 55+ community or a senior living center. She helps facilitate the task of doing the estate sale, working with move mangers and preparing the home for sale. This can mean hiring contractors to do the fix-ups, clean-outs, painting and minor repairs.
Lynn is a native Oregonian. She supports the Re/Max Equity Group Foundation through giving a portion of each sale to this charity. Most Sundays mean family dinners with at least 4 generations enjoying a meal together. She is a lifelong advocate for the 4-H Program in Oregon and has served on the Oregon 4-H Board of Trustees. She enjoys vacationing in Central Oregon and the Oregon Coast, playing golf and entertaining friends and family.
